Farewell Day
Today is a bit of a sad day. First, we had to bid farewell to the Moremi Crossing Lodge and staff. We got to sleep in a bit as breakfast was at 8:00. We regrouped at 9:30 to take some pictures with our guides. Then they drove us out to the airstrip to board our small airplanes. We were once again divided into groups of 4 or 5 for a 20 minute flight to Maun. It was so amazing to see the animals and the landscape from the air.
We got checked in for our flights at Maun. We then had to bid farewell to Carla, Roy and Carol, as they begin their long journey back home. The rest of us flew to Cape Town, South Africa on a 2.5 hour flight.
